From May to October inclusive, guided tours of the Königshütte site and the Ironworks Museum take place every Tuesday of the month. From November up to and including April the guided tours take place every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. The meeting point is at 15.00 hrs at the fountain.

In the first part of the tour, the historical iron foundry Königshütte is presented in general. The second part is then devoted to a visit to the South Harz Ironworks Museum.

Guided tours of the mill are not offered. Unfortunately, the machine factory is not accessible at the moment because of the renovation. 

The guides are honorary members of the Förderkreis. After the tour a donation is requested for the preservation of the ensemble and for the maintenance of the association's activities.
